Job summary

Motorola Solutions (Silvus Technologies) is seeking a Business Development Engineer to bridge RF capabilities with Marine Corps defense customer requirements. You will support field trials, demos, and technical planning across expeditionary networks.

The role requires up to 50% travel and a strong background in SDR, IP routing, and scripting. SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months is needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related C5ISR field; 2–5 years in systems engineering or defence tech.
• Exposure to Software-Defined Radios, IP-based routing, or tactical communication systems.
• Security clearance: Government SECRET or ability to obtain within 15 months.

Responsibilities

• Support field tests and live-on-air field trials, configurations, and evaluations.
• Collaborate with engineering and business development to align technical needs with strategy.
• Develop and present technical demos for expeditionary and tactical edge networking needs.
• Travel up to 50% for field tests and customer engagements.
