Motorola Solutions and its Silvus Technologies division seek a Business Development Engineer for the US Marine Corps to bridge RF capabilities with customer requirements. You will work with Applications Engineering to demonstrate interoperability across expeditionary, littoral, ground, airborne, and unmanned environments, traveling up to 50% to field test sites and government labs.

Reporting to the Director of Applications Engineering, you’ll help translate feedback into product roadmap inputs

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related C5ISR field; 2–5 years in systems engineering or defense tech.
• Exposure to Software-Defined Radios, IP-based routing, or tactical communications.
• Familiar with RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers and signal generators.

Responsabilités

• Analyze USMC priorities and map requirements to radio solutions.
• Plan, configure networks, and conduct field trials and evaluations.
• Collaborate to leverage testing and benchmarking data.
• Support BD team with technical needs and align to priorities.
• Present demonstrations for expeditionary and tactical networks.
• Contribute to RFI/RFP responses.
• Identify potential integrations with industry partners.
