Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a subsidiary of Motorola Solutions, seeks a Business Development Engineer to bridge RF and network capabilities for USMC programs. You will support our field-ready StreamCaster radios across expeditionary, littoral, ground, and airborne environments, collaborating with engineering and BD teams. Frequent travel and a flexible remote option are available.

The role requires exposure to SDRs, IP routing, Linux, and scripting. Security clearance and U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer/Network/C5ISR or equivalent; 2–5 years in relevant roles.
• Experience with SDRs, IP routing, or tactical communications.
• Familiarity with RF test equipment (spectrum analyzers, signal generators).
• Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain one within 15 months.

Responsibilities

• Analyze USMC priorities and map requirements to radio solutions.
• Plan and execute field trials, modernizations, and evaluations.
• Collaborate to benchmark architectures and ensure technical soundness.
• Support BD with technical needs and align with strategic priorities.
• Build and present demonstrations for expeditionary networking needs.
• Review and contribute to RFI/RFP responses.
• Conduct market research for partnerships and test architectures.
• Engage with MARCORSYSCOM, MCWL, PEO Land Systems, and naval centers.
• Translate field feedback into roadmap inputs and track progress.
• Travel up to 50% to perform field tests and demonstrations.
