Job summary

The Pivot Group Network is seeking a Help Desk Technician to support manufacturing environments around Fremont, MI. Responsibilities include troubleshooting desktops, arranging new workstation images, and assisting plant and office staff with software and ERP timekeeping systems.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
1–3 years of help desk or desktop support experience.
Working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft 365.
Basic Active Directory user and password management.
CompTIA A+ or similar certification.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot desktop, laptop, printer, and peripheral issues.
Reset passwords and manage user accounts in Active Directory.
Set up and image workstations for new hires and replacements.
Support shop floor devices such as scanners, label printers, and handheld terminals.
Escalate network and server issues to senior IT staff.
Document fixes and update the ticket system with resolution notes.
Walk users through basic software steps for email, ERP, and timekeeping systems.
Answer incoming support calls, emails, and tickets from plant and office staff.
