Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Birmingham, AL to perform on-site maintenance across community areas and units, including preventive and corrective tasks. You will respond to resident requests, assist with make-ready, pool maintenance, and safety compliance while keeping accurate records.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and basic computer skills, knowledge of OSHA and Fair Housing laws, and the ability to work with a team to uphold property standards and safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Ability to understand and perform on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Community maintenance and repairs on common areas and units.
• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders promptly.
• Assist with make-ready and turnover of units.
• Perform pool maintenance and chemical logkeeping.
• Maintain safety and OSHA compliance in daily tasks.
