Zusammenfassung

Varmoda is seeking an intermediate-level Mainframe Operator to function as a Level 1 Incident Manager for critical IT incidents. This on-site role requires rapid triage, escalation and tracking of incidents while coordinating with IT staff, customers and vendors.

You will monitor infrastructure and mainframe consoles and support job control language reviews. The position may require holiday, day, afternoon, and/or midnight shifts and has no work-from-home option.

Qualifikationen

• In-depth knowledge and at least 5 years of experience with Microsoft Teams.
• Experience with monitoring and alerting tools such as WhatsUp Gold, Pingdom and PRTG.
• Ability to manage incidents quickly and coordinate cross-team responses.

Key Responsibilities

• Function as a Level 1 Incident Manager for critical incidents/events relating to various IT technology.
• Quickly create, elevate, triage, and track customer technology-related incidents.
• Collaborate with IT staff, customers, and vendors to resolve and manage technology-related incidents.
• Utilize graphical monitoring systems tracking availability and status of infrastructure connectivity, assets, and services.
• Monitor mainframe control consoles.
• Periodically check system performance.
• Assist with the review/validation of mainframe job control language.
• Perform deliveries as assigned.
• Lift up to 50 pounds as required.
• Work holidays, days, afternoons, and/or midnight shifts as requested.

Required Qualifications

• Intermediate-level experience.
• In-depth knowledge and at least 5 years of experience with Microsoft Teams.
• Experience with What's Up Gold.
• Experience with Pingdom.
• Experience with PRTG.
