Job summary

Info Origin Inc. seeks a seasoned Mainframe Operator / IT Operations Analyst in Pontiac, MI for a 100% onsite contract. You will monitor IBM Mainframe systems, manage Level 1 incidents, and coordinate with IT teams and vendors during critical events.

The role requires 5+ years of IBM Mainframe experience, strong incident management and communication skills, and familiarity with monitoring tools WhatsUp Gold, Pingdom, and PRTG. Day to midnight shifts may be required.

Qualifications

We are looking for an experiencedMainframe Operator to join our IT Operations team. This is a100% onsite position with no remote option.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor IBM Mainframe systems, infrastructure, and services.


• Handle Level 1 incidents, create and upscale tickets, and track issues to resolution.


• Use monitoring tools such asWhatsUp Gold, Pingdom, and PRTG.


• Monitor mainframe control consoles and system performance.


• Support basic JCL review/validation.


• Coordinate with IT teams, customers, and vendors during critical incidents.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of Microsoft Teams experience required.


• Hands-on experience withIBM Mainframe.


• Experience withWhatsUp Gold, Pingdom, and/or PRTG.


• Strong communication and incident management skills.


• Must be available forday, afternoon, midnight, weekend, and holiday shifts as required.
