Job summary

Info Origin Inc. seeks a seasoned Mainframe Operator / IT Operations Analyst in Pontiac, MI for a 100% onsite contract. You will monitor IBM Mainframe systems, manage Level 1 incidents, and coordinate with IT teams and vendors during critical events.

The role requires 5+ years of IBM Mainframe experience, strong incident management and communication skills, and familiarity with monitoring tools WhatsUp Gold, Pingdom, and PRTG. Day to midnight shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Microsoft Teams experience required.
• Hands-on IBM Mainframe experience required.
• Experience with monitoring tools WhatsUp Gold, Pingdom or PRTG.
• Strong communication and incident management skills.
• Ability to work day, afternoon, midnight, weekend, and holiday shifts.

Responsibilities

• Monitor IBM Mainframe systems, infrastructure, and services.
• Handle Level 1 incidents, create and upscale tickets, and track issues to resolution.
• Use monitoring tools WhatsUp Gold, Pingdom, and PRTG.
• Monitor mainframe control consoles and system performance.
• Coordinate with IT teams, customers, and vendors during critical incidents.
