Job summary

Fox Rothschild LLP is seeking a Billing Specialist in the Finance Department to ensure accurate and timely billing in accordance with firm and client guidelines. The role supports attorneys and management with inquiries, unbilled work in progress, and detailed invoice back-ups.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of legal billing experience and familiarity with electronic billing via various vendor sites and the Ehub. Strong organization and communication are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Two to five years of legal billing experience is required; Elite experience is preferred.
• Experience with electronic billing utilizing vendor websites and the Ehub.

Responsibilities

• Assist in responding timely to general billing inquiries from management, staff, attorneys and clients.
• Review aged unbilled WIP and provide status updates to Billing Supervisor/Director of Billing.
• Provide expense detail backups to accompany invoices as required.
• Research and address client overpayments and cost advances as needed for current invoices or refunds.
• Process invoices using Paperless Proforma for specific attorneys.
• Review newly opened matters for clients to see if matters are available through e-billing websites.
• Ensure invoices are submitted timely and address any reductions or rejections immediately.
• Submit Rate Requests for certain vendor sites.
• Provide updates regarding invoice status to Billing Supervisor/Director of Billing.
