Job summary

E&H Ace Hardware in Aurora, OH is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Department Leads to drive sales, maintain department organization, and support daily operations at our Bainbridge Ohio store. You’ll lead a department, ensuring excellent service, accurate inventory, and strong teamwork to deliver a standout shopping experience.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, retail or customer service experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong product knowledge and a willingness to learn.
• Ability to lead by example and work well within a team.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent service to every customer.
• Own performance, presentation, and inventory of your department.
• Answer questions and assist with in-store and online orders.
• Promote Ace Rewards and help customers sign up.
• Maintain department signage and product knowledge.
• Conduct cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory.
• Receive, stock, and merchandise products in your department.
• Open and/or close the store as needed and serve as keyholder.
• Monitor safety and theft prevention measures.
• Collaborate with team and communicate with store leadership.
• Flex your schedule to include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
