Job summary

Liberty Military Housing in Virginia Beach, VA, seeks a Service Technician III to perform general and specialized maintenance in a multi-family residential community. The role may include lead responsibilities and requires effective communication, quality workmanship, and safety adherence to LMH standards.

Responsibilities include tackling plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repairs, completing resident-requested tasks within 24 hours, and supporting on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Five or more years’ related maintenance experience preferred.
• Intermediate level understanding of electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, painting, and appliance repair.
• HVAC and EPA certifications preferred.
• Some supervisory or lead experience preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Must be available for regular on-call work and emergency calls.
• Able to arrive at the property within 60 minutes.
• Willing to travel to regional locations.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance and repairs on building systems and appliances to LMH standards.
• Lead or supervise maintenance staff as needed.
• Maintain and close service requests using Yardi Mobile.
• Respond to on-call and emergency maintenance requests.
• Inspect and perform routine maintenance and safety checks.
• Travel to different regional locations for work, training, and meetings.
