Job summary

Liberty Military Housing is seeking a Service Technician III (Maintenance Technician III) to perform general and specialized maintenance in a multifamily community. The role may include lead responsibilities, supervising staff and ensuring safe, high-quality home conditions.

Responsibilities include repairing plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting and appliance systems, with 24-hour response and on-call duties. Strong communication and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of related maintenance experience preferred.
• Intermediate level understanding and experience in electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, painting, carpet care and appliance repair.
• HVAC and EPA certifications preferred.
• Some supervisory or lead experience preferred.
• Excellent communication with coworkers, managers, vendors or residents.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance installation repairs and preventative maintenance on building systems and appliances; repairs on specified systems.
• Tests and troubleshoots items such as thermocouples, motors, boiler controls, fire alarms, plumbing valves and fixtures.
• Performs general maintenance across trades to ensure quality homes and community.
• Completes resident-requested repairs within 24 hours.
• On-call service and emergency response.
• Participates in routine inspections and training.
• Operates tools and reports maintenance concerns to supervisor.
