Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Lead Field Service Representative to support ASCO Services from a home-based role in the U.S. You will coach fellow reps, manage key customer accounts, and perform commissioning, testing, and maintenance of equipment across diverse environments.

Requirements include 7+ years as a shop or field electrical technician and a 2-year degree or electrical certification. Travel and leadership responsibilities are involved as directed by the Services Manager.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of work as a shop or field electrical technician
• Minimum two-year degree or technical certification in electrical program preferred
• Demonstrated leadership among peers
• Knowledge of ANSI IEEE C37 standards in breakers/switchgear
• Experience with distribution protective relay testing, hi-pot testing, and breaker testing

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor Field Service Reps; provide technical advice and diagnostics
• Manage several customer key accounts
• Perform service or support per standard procedures; adapt as needed
• Provide pre/post sales technical support including commissioning and testing
• Develop solutions to complex startup problems and recommend upgrades
• Evaluate products/equipment to meet customer needs
• Monitor and resolve recurring complex problems for customer satisfaction
• Troubleshoot and resolve startup issues; train customers on equipment features
• Generate service leads and train customers on equipment use
