Job summary

Summit is seeking an experienced cook supervisor for the Eagle Pass, TX Corrections team to coordinate and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring meals are prepared safely, on time, and to high quality standards in a fast-paced setting.

You will train staff, enforce sanitation, monitor portion sizes and temperatures, and lead the shift to maintain efficiency in a correctional kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• At least one year of culinary experience in a high-volume establishment with scratch cooking.
• Complete knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks.
• High-level product knowledge with friendly, helpful customer service; ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience supervising a team in a kitchen setting.

Responsibilities
