Job summary

DLA Piper is seeking a Lateral Intake Specialist to support the firm’s critical risk management function during onboarding of lateral candidates. You will conduct conflicts research, review and summarize results, and generate reports to assist Partners and Counsel.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and experience with conflicts software. A hybrid work arrangement may be available across US offices.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Paralegal certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts conflicts research on potential clients and adversaries.
• Reviews, analyzes, interprets, and summarizes conflicts search results for reporting.
• Generates conflict reports and tracks outstanding requests.
• Performs quality checks on conflict reports before delivery.
• Provides foundational understanding of potential conflicts to analysts and counsel; supports onboarding.
• Communicates with partners to resolve lateral candidate conflicts.
• Assists with other duties as assigned.
