DLA Piper is seeking a Lateral Intake Specialist to support the firm’s risk management by handling conflicts of interest reporting for onboarding lateral candidates. You will research corporate structures, review complex search results, generate reports, and collaborate with Conflicts Analysts and Counsel.

The role emphasizes communication with partners, adherence to professional conduct, and a flexible, hybrid work arrangement across US offices.

Qualifications

• Experience writing and communicating in a business environment.
• Experience with intake and conflicts software preferred.
• Ability to apply critical thinking to different conflicts scenarios.
• Meticulous attention to detail and ability to prioritize and multitask.

Responsibilities

• Conducts research and analyzes corporate structures of potential clients.
• Reviews and summarizes conflicts search results for reporting.
• Generates conflict reports and follows up on requests, often urgently.
• Performs quality control checks on conflict reports prior to delivery.
• Provides foundational understanding of conflicts to analysts and counsel, aiding resolution of conflicts.
• Communicates with partners to assist in processing lateral candidate requests and resolving conflicts.
• Other duties as assigned.
