Job summary

DLA Piper in the United States is seeking a Lateral Intake Specialist to support the firm’s risk management function by handling conflicts of interest reporting for onboarding new lateral candidates. You will conduct research on corporate structures, review search results, and generate conflicts reports in collaboration with the New Business Intake Lateral Team.

This role requires clear written and verbal communication with partners and analysts, accuracy under tight deadlines, and experience

Qualifications

• Experience in conflicts or new business intake environments preferred.
• Ability to present information concisely in a business context.
• Experience with conflicts software and intake processes is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conducts research and analyzes corporate structures and history of potential clients.
• Reviews and summarizes conflicts search results for conflict analysis and reporting.
• Generates conflict reports and follows up on requests, often urgent.
• Performs quality control checks on conflict reports prior to delivery.
• Provides foundational understanding of conflicts to analysts and counsel, coordinating with the New Business Intake Lateral Team.
• Communicates with partners to assist in processing lateral candidate requests and resolving conflicts.
• Other duties as assigned.
