Job summary

DLA Piper seeks a Lateral Intake Specialist to support conflicts of interest reporting during onboarding of lateral candidates. You will research corporate structures, analyze conflicts search results, generate reports, and guide junior team members through complex ethical considerations.

Hybrid work in US offices, collaborating with Partners and Conflict Analysts to ensure accurate, timely decision-making and compliance with professional conduct rules.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of direct experience in conflicts or new business intake.
• Experience in a law firm environment preferred.
• Paralegal certificate preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and analyzes corporate structures of potential clients.
• Review, analyze, and summarize conflicts search results per conduct rules.
• Generate conflict reports and follow up on requests, often urgent.
• Provide foundational understanding to Analysts and Counsel; assist in resolution of conflicts.
