Job summary

RXO is seeking a Last Mile Operations Manager in the United States to oversee contract carrier operations, plan routes, and mentor staff. You will be responsible for hiring, training, and enforcing company policies across a team, while driving efficiency and on-time performance.

The role requires strong logistics experience, supervisory skills, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams. A bachelor's degree and bilingual English/Spanish are advantageous.

Qualifications

• 5 years of related logistics and supervisory experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office such as Word, Outlook, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of contract carriers and manage schedules.
• Develop and mentor staff to reach goals and train on policies.
• Handle interviewing, hiring, and disciplinary actions.
• Ensure compliance with warehouse policies and programs.
• Supervise employees per policies, including performance assessments.
• Use route planning software to build efficient delivery routes.
• Manage dispatch of contract carriers and resolve daily issues.
• Identify route inefficiencies and restructure accordingly.
• Train carriers and dispatchers to meet customer expectations.
• Ensure timeliness and accuracy of all work; document photos.
• Allocate additional resources as needed.
