Job summary

RXO, Inc. is seeking a Manager, Last Mile Operations to lead daily operations, optimize routes, and supervise staff across the last-mile network. This role emphasizes collaboration with carriers, adherence to policies, and driving performance to meet customer expectations.

You will oversee route planning, dispatch, and staff development while ensuring timely, accurate deliveries and compliant operations. Strong leadership and multilingual skills are a plus for the role.

Qualifications

• 5 years of related logistics and supervisory experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office such as Word, Outlook, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of contract carriers and maintain contractor schedules and routes.
• Develop and mentor staff; train on company policies and procedures.
• Interview, hire, discipline, and resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with corporate warehouse policies, procedures, and programs.
• Supervise employees per policies and laws, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance.
• Use route planning software to build efficient delivery routes.
• Manage dispatch of contract carriers and resolve day-to-day issues.
• Identify problem areas and restructure routes to improve efficiency.
• Train and develop carriers and dispatchers to meet customer expectations.
• Ensure tasks are completed accurately within established time frames.
• Take photos for every job.
• Allocate and request additional resources as needed.
