Job summary

Legal Soft in the Los Angeles area is seeking a Junior IT Analyst to help stop paying for unused software. You will inventory licenses and subscriptions, track usage, and flag waste such as inactive seats and auto-renewals.

This entry-level role teaches IT asset management, vendor management and IT finance under senior staff. You will gain hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and licensing models while supporting monthly spend reporting.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or related field required, fresh graduates welcome.
0–2 years IT support or procurement experience.
Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets (formulas, pivots).
Understanding of software licensing models (per user, per device, subscription).
Strong written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain a central register of software licenses, SaaS subscriptions, and cloud services.
Identify unmanaged subscriptions by reviewing expense reports and invoices.
Monitor license usage and suggest downgrades or cancellations.
Maintain renewal calendars and assist in vendor negotiations.
Onboard and offboard staff with license provisioning and deactivation.
Prepare monthly spend reports and reconcile invoices with budget.
Support software license audits and compliance.
