Job summary

Dart Container is seeking a detail-oriented IT Software Asset Administrator to support the management of our software assets and licensing portfolio. You will oversee software asset lifecycle activities, ensure license compliance, support vendor audits, and help optimize software spend.

This role sits at the intersection of technology, finance, vendor management, and data analysis, offering visibility into licensing rights, renewals, and governance, with hybrid work from Mason, MI.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required or equivalent experience.
• Experience with information gathering, financial analysis, reporting, or asset management activities.
• Understanding of software licensing, vendor contracts, renewals, entitlements, and usage rights.
• Knowledge of SAM principles and lifecycle management processes.
• Experience investigating discrepancies, analyzing data, and resolving complex issues.
• Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, charts, reporting).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage full software asset lifecycle: requests, procurement, deployment, renewals, true-ups, retirement.
• Maintain accurate entitlement, license, contract, warranty, maintenance records.
• Track assets in asset management systems and repositories.
• Ensure lifecycle activities align with policies, standards, governance.
