Sightpath Medical Inc. in Bloomington, MN is seeking an IT Systems Support Engineer to join our on-site IT department.

This full-time role provides Tier 1 helpdesk support for Windows and iOS devices, with emphasis on clear, patient guidance and timely issue resolution. Responsibilities include user administration in RingCentral, Jamf, Active Directory (on-prem), and Office 365; local backup testing; antivirus maintenance; and hardware/network troubleshooting both on-site and remotely as needed.

Qualifications

• BS degree in IT, CS or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Tier 1 helpdesk support and issue triage.
• Assist users via phone, email, or Datto RMM to resolve issues.
• Elevate unresolved issues to internal resources.
• Prioritize multiple open issues.
• Maintain user administration in RingCentral, Jamf, AD, and Office 365.
• Local backup maintenance and testing.
• Maintain antivirus at all locations.
• Hardware and network troubleshooting onsite and remotely.
• Phone system maintenance/configuration.
• MDM via Jamf.
• Document knowledge in notes and manuals.

IT Systems Support Engineer - On-Site / Bloomington, MN

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Bloomington, Minnesota. We are not considering remote candidates at this time.

About Us:

Sightpath Medical is the premier cataract and LASIK mobile services provider in the U.S. We have an opening at our headquarters in Bloomington, MN for an IT Systems Support Engineer in our IT Department.

Responsibilities:

• Tier 1 Helpdesk support
• Assist users either via phone, email or Datto Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) to resolve any issues
• Properly elevate unresolved issues to appropriate internal resources
• Prioritize and manage several open issues at one time
• Maintain user administration in all systems including RingCentral, Jamf, Active Directory (on-prem), and Microsoft Office 365
• Local backup maintenance and testing
• Maintain Antivirus at all locations
• Local & remote hardware support / troubleshooting and network maintenance
• Phone system maintenance / configuration
• Mobile Device Management (MDM) via Jamf
• Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a Systems Support Engineer, Desktop Support Engineer, IT Help Desk Technician or similar role
• Hands-on experience with Windows OS and IOS devices
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues
• Familiarity with On-premises Active Directory, remote management tools, Veeam/Datto Backup Software, VMWare, RingCentral, and Jamf are a plus
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to provide clear step-step technical guidance, both written and verbal
• BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• Additional certification in Microsoft, VMware or similar technologies is a plus
