IT Support Engineer – MSP Environment | Hazlet, NJ | $60–80K

You’ll work in a true MSP environment where every day brings new challenges — from troubleshooting servers and networks to supporting end users — while being part of a supportive, people-first team.

What You’ll Do

• Provide hands-on and remote support for desktops, servers, and networks.
• Manage and support Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Azure AD, mobile email setups).
• Troubleshoot and remediate malware/virus/security issues.
• Configure and maintain backups (Datto, Carbonite, Azure).
• Perform basic network component installs and diagnostics.
• Work with Windows Server environments: troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance.
• Document work clearly in ticketing tools (ConnectWise Manage, Automate, Control experience preferred).
• Deliver outstanding customer service with professionalism and a problem-solving mindset.
• Collaborate with teammates — knowing when to ask for help and when to take initiative.

What You Bring

• MSP experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 support and Azure AD.
• Experience with ConnectWise tools (Manage, Automate, Control) a plus.
• Solid foundation in networking basics (firewalls, switches, VPNs).
• Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery solutions (Datto, Carbonite, Azure).
• Ability to troubleshoot Windows servers and desktop environments.
• Strong communication skills and a client-first attitude.
• Self-motivation and resourcefulness — you know how to figure things out, but you’re also not afraid to ask for help.
• Work setup: Mostly remote, with 1–2 days per week at client sites. Occasional office visits for equipment/deployments. Candidate MUST live in Ocean or Monmouth County, NJ
