Job summary

Samsara, the Connected Operations Cloud leader, is seeking a Sales Engineer to drive IoT-enabled logistics and operations improvements. You’ll engage with customers, deliver demonstrations, and craft deployment plans that showcase Samsara hardware, software, and open APIs.

This remote Northeast US role requires up to 50% travel and proximity to an airport. You’ll collaborate across product and sales teams to translate technical feedback into winning customer solutions, supporting scale across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 4-year accredited university.
• 2+ years in pre-sales, customer success, or customer/product support.
• Ability to influence stakeholders using technical sales acumen.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Experience with hardware and/or software product evaluations.
• Understanding of electronics and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Become an expert on Samsara products and IoT technology.
• Articulate value of Samsara to prospects for logistics, safety, and operations.
• Deliver discovery, demos, value assessments, and PoCs.
• Guide installers and build deployment plans for Samsara solutions.
• Develop scripts using our open API and document for reuse by SEs.
• Engage accounts to enable deeper integrations and upsell opportunities.
• Coordinate with product and sales to feedback technical requirements.
• Model Samsara values and participate in global scale operations.
