Job summary
Samsara, the Connected Operations Cloud pioneer, seeks a Sales Engineer to help modernize essential industries with cutting-edge IoT solutions from the Midwest region. You’ll translate complex tech into practical deployments, partner with sales and customers, and influence decisions through demonstrations, proofs of concept, and API integrations.
This remote role requires travel up to 50% and proximity to a major airport.
Qualifications
- Bachelors’ of Science degree from a 4 year accredited university.
- 2+ years experience in pre-sales, customer success, or customer/product support.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Experience with hardware and/or software product evaluations.
- Understanding of cloud software, IoT concepts, and data integrations.
Responsibilities
- Become expert on Samsara products and IoT solutions.
- Articulate value of Samsara to prospects across industries.
- Deliver discoveries, demonstrations, and proofs-of-concept implementations.
- Guide installers and build deployment plans.
- Write scripts against our open API and document them for reuse.
- Enable deeper account engagement through integration and up-selling.
