Farmers Insurance is recruiting for an Agent in Training in the Grand Rapids area. No prior insurance experience is required, and you will learn the insurance business while gaining hands-on sales experience across Auto, Home, Life, and Business lines.

You’ll connect with customers, ask questions to tailor coverage, prepare quotes, and follow up through the sales process. Strong communication, persistence, and a desire to grow with a supportive team are essential.

Responsibilities

• Connect with prospective customers through leads, referrals, and outreach.
• Ask questions to understand customer needs.

• Follow up with prospective customers throughout the sales process.
• Build long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
• Work toward individual and team sales goals.
• Manage leads and follow-up activity through agency systems.
• Participate in ongoing sales, product, and professional development training.
