Job summary

Farmers Insurance is seeking an Insurance Agent Trainee in Michigan to turn sales skills into a career with room to grow. You will receive hands-on training, coaching, and an opportunity to build client relationships while developing insurance knowledge and a sales career.

Previous sales success is required; you will quote and sell Auto, Home, Life, and Commercial coverage, build ongoing client relationships, and work toward individual sales goals in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Previous sales experience or proven success toward measurable goals.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Comfortable making outbound calls and asking for the sale.
• Motivated by goals, performance, and earning potential.
• Coachable, organized, and able to follow up consistently.

Responsibilities

• Connect with prospective clients through leads, referrals, and outbound outreach
• Ask questions to understand each client's needs and recommend appropriate coverage
• Quote and sell Auto, Home, Life, Commercial, and other insurance products
• Build long-term relationships with new and existing clients
• Follow up consistently with prospects throughout the sales process
• Identify cross-selling opportunities and additional client needs
• Manage leads and sales activity using CRM tools
• Work toward individual sales goals and contribute to agency growth
