Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Hartford, CT is seeking an experienced Learning Designer to design, develop, and maintain dynamic eLearning, instructor-led, blended, or performance-support training solutions for Ryder employees.

You will collaborate with SMEs, business owners, and other stakeholders to create outcomes-focused content, stay current with adult learning trends, and deliver high-quality trainings on schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education, instructional design, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in instructional design or education environments.
• Experience designing and developing e-learning, ILT, blended, or performance support solutions.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
• Knowledge of a development tool such as Storyline.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop learning content, objectives, and evaluation strategies.
• Consult with subject matter experts and business owners to deliver customized training solutions.
• Prepare learning project proposals and implementation plans.
• Ensure alignment of solutions with objectives and desired outcomes.
• Stay current with emerging trends in learning methods and adult learning practices.
