Job summary

Valley Iron Inc. is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to maintain and grow accounts, primarily via voice, fax, and electronic communications. You will quote materials and processing services, convert quotes to orders, and coordinate will call or delivery as needed.

Ideal candidates have 3 years of industrial or retail sales experience, strong customer service, and excellent communication skills. Proficiency in Excel/Word and basic math is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in business or related field required.
• 3 years of industrial or retail sales experience preferred.
• Bi-lingual Spanish preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and grow existing accounts with responsive service.
• Provide timely quotes for materials and services.
• Convert quotes to orders and print/dispatch orders for will call or delivery.
• Coordinate outside processing when needed and ensure accuracy of quotes/orders.
• Support Outside Sales Representative in opening new accounts.
• Solicit feedback on products, pricing, and overall performance.
• Handle cash, checks, credit card payments, and manage cash drawer.
