Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a senior Continuous Improvement leader to drive and manage CI resources across multiple operations, delivering performance gains in safety, quality, and cost.

You will lead engineering, analytics, and lean initiatives, guiding teams and interfacing with senior management to ensure sustained improvements. You will develop and execute strategy, mentor teams, and utilize tools like PowerBI/Tableau for data-driven decision making, while coordinating with operations leaders

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain Management
• Nine (9) years or more in Distribution, Warehousing, Manufacturing, Transportation, or Supply Chain Logistics
• Strong data analysis and Lean/Six Sigma experience
• Excellent communication and leadership skills

Responsibilities

• Supervise CI engineering and quality professionals and manage performance.
• Lead strategy, KPI action plans, and assessments of site needs to drive continuous improvement.
• Provide training and coaching on Lean methods and data analytics.
• Develop competency in engineering methods, data analysis, Lean tools, and quality standards.
• Facilitate Value Stream Maps and Kaizen Events across stages; track progress and sustainment.
• Direct CI activities across customer accounts and coordinate Lean implementation.
