Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Senior Continuous Improvement Manager to lead CI resources across multiple operations, driving change through data analytics, engineering, and lean methods.

The role interfaces with executives and operates across business units to enhance safety, quality, delivery, cost, and growth. Responsibilities include supervising CI teams, shaping strategy and KPIs, training staff, and delivering large-scale process improvements using Lean, PDCA, and Kaizen events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain Management is required.
• Nine or more years in Distribution, Warehousing, Manufacturing, Transportation, or Supply Chain Logistics.
• Expertise in Lean methods, PDCA, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of CI engineering and quality professionals.
• Lead strategy development, scorecards, KPI action plans, and progress reporting.
• Provide training, coaching, and mentoring on Lean, data analysis, and engineering methods.
• Develop competency in engineering methods, data analytics, Lean tools, and QA standards.
• Facilitate Value Stream Maps and Kaizen Events across projects and accounts.
• Oversee CI activities from assessment to sustainment across customer accounts.
