Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Lead Continuous Improvement Engineer to drive data-driven CI initiatives across operations. You will lead and influence cross-functional teams, identify process gaps, and implement improvements to enhance safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

You will leverage Lean tools, data analytics, and engineering methods to achieve sustained results, manage CI resources, and report progress to CI leadership. Travel is up to 10-15% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain with 7+ years of related work experience in Warehousing, Transportation, or Manufacturing.
• Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or Supply Chain Management with 5+ years related experience.
• Data visualization (PowerBI, Tableau) and database programming (SQL, DAX, etc.) are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collects data and performs statistical analysis; maps and documents processes; identifies process gaps and implements improvement plans.
• Manages high-impact CI projects across the operation to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and employee development.
• Demonstrates competency in Lean methods and coaches teams in CI, Quality Assurance, and Lean principles; leads cross functional CI projects.
