Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Senior Continuous Improvement Leader to oversee CI resources across multiple operations, driving data-driven improvements and change management.

You will partner with leadership to implement Lean methods, training, and coaching to achieve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and growth objectives. Responsibilities include developing strategy, managing KPI action plans, and leading cross-functional teams through CI projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain Management.
• Nine (9) years or more in the Distribution, Warehousing and/or Manufacturing, Transportation, Supply Chain Logistics industry required.
• MS Office Suite with emphasis on Access, Excel and PowerPoint & Visio expert required.
• Data visualization (PowerBI, Tableau) intermediate preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma, required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of continuous improvement engineering and quality professionals.
• Lead the development and execution of strategy, scorecarding and KPI action plans.
• Provide training, coaching, and mentoring to translate Ryder B.S. concepts to local situations.
• Develop advanced competency in engineering methods, data analysis, Lean tools, and quality standards.
• Facilitate Value Stream Maps and Kaizen Events; manage CI projects and sustainment.
