Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a senior Continuous Improvement Manager to lead CI programs across multiple sites. You will guide engineering teams, use data analytics and lean tools to deliver safety, quality, delivery, cost and growth improvements.

The role interfaces with senior management and customer stakeholders, mentors staff, and drives Kaizen events, VSMs and PDCA cycles to sustain gains while aligning with Ryder’s continuous improvement culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain Management.
• Nine (9) years or more in the Distribution, Warehousing and/or Manufacturing, Transportation, Supply Chain Logistics industry.
• Microsoft Office Suite skills with emphasis on Access, Excel and PowerPoint & Visio expert required.
• Data visualization (PowerBI, Tableau) intermediate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of continuous improvement engineering and quality professionals; hire, promote, coach and develop staff.
• Develop and execute CI strategy, scorecards and KPIs; drive improvements across sites.
• Provide training, coaching and mentoring on Lean, data analysis and PDCA methods.
• Lead cross-functional CI projects across accounts; track progress and sustainment.
• Oversee QA, regulatory compliance and continuous improvement activities within the organization.
