Job summary

Scale Warehouse and More is seeking a Full-Charge Bookkeeper / Accounting Specialist to own the day-to-day accounting. You will handle AP/AR, reconciliations, month-end close, and coordination with the owner, maintaining accurate books for year-end reporting.

This on-site role in Easton, PA requires strong QuickBooks Desktop expertise, attention to detail, and independence in managing accounting records and processes.

Qualifications

• Significant hands-on experience with QuickBooks Desktop.
• Experience managing both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Strong bank reconciliation experience.
• Strong credit card reconciliation experience.
• Experience with month-end close.
• General ledger knowledge.
• Experience preparing journal entries.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
• Confidence communicating directly with ownership.

Responsibilities

• Manage the company’s day-to-day accounting functions, including AP/AR.
• Enter and review vendor bills and process payments.
• Apply customer payments and monitor receivables.
• Perform reconciliations for bank and credit cards.
• Prepare journal entries and maintain GL.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close.
• Coordinate with outside CPA and maintain documentation.
• Maintain organized financial records and schedules.
