Job summary

V Group Inc. in Pontiac, MI is seeking a Level 1 Incident Manager responsible for handling critical IT incidents/events across technologies. You will quickly assess, escalate, and communicate status to stakeholders while coordinating with IT teams and vendors.

The role requires strong communication, monitoring of infrastructure and mainframe environments, and hands-on capability with alerting tools. You will monitor teams, assist with mainframe job control language review, and ensure deliveries

Qualifications

• 5+ years of incident management experience.
• Experience with mainframe environments is beneficial.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Excellent communication skills necessary to collaborate with IT staff, customers and vendors.
• Utilize graphical monitoring systems tracking availability and status of infrastructure connectivity, assets and services.
• Monitors mainframe control consoles, periodically checking system performance.
• May assist with the review/validation of mainframe job control language.
• Perform deliveries as assigned and must be able to lift 50 pounds.

Technical Environment
