Job summary

You will manage staff performance, coaching, and development, hire when needed, and drive budgets while fostering an inclusive, high-performing team culture across the Publications organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; higher degrees preferred.
• 5+ years of medical/scientific publications experience; pharmaceutical industry or medical communications background.
• Strong leadership and team-management experience; ability to mentor staff and manage budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional Publications Team(s) for assigned assets; drive publication plan execution.
• Oversee publication activities (manuscripts, abstracts, posters, presentations) to meet strategic goals.
• Ensure Publication Plan aligns with broader scientific communications strategies.
• Provide managerial oversight to staff; conduct performance reviews and coaching; manage talent retention.
