AbbVie is seeking a Lead Publications Team leader to drive publication plans for assigned assets and oversee manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and oral presentations. You will align plans with strategic publication goals and manage resources and budgets across global stakeholders.

You will mentor staff, coordinate with the Publications Director and Scientific Communications Platform lead, and ensure high-quality deliverables within timelines and regulatory standards.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees preferred.
• 4-5 years of medical/scientific publications experience.
• Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.
• Knowledge of clinical publication regulations and best practices.

Responsabilidades

• Lead cross-functional Publications Team(s) for assigned assets.
• Drive execution of publication plans with timelines and budgets.
• Review publications for quality and alignment with platforms.
• Ensure seamless transfer of publication strategy to plans and tactics.
• Project and manage outsourcing budget and internal resources.
• Provide oversight to internal/external medical writers.
• Direct external vendors to deliver timely publication outputs.
• Conduct performance assessments and staff development.
• Resolve publications-related issues and maintain records.
