Kimball Midwest is seeking an Account Representative to join a two-year training program designed to develop sales experience, product knowledge and the skills needed to advance to a sales role.

In a hybrid California-based role, you will build customer relationships, prospect new business, plan territory activity and learn our product lines through hands-on workshops and field training.

First-year compensation ranges from $42,400 to $47,400 with a salary and bonus structure.

Qualifications

• Relationship management with customers in a designated territory.
• Ability to effectively cold call and prospect new customers.
• Weekly planning to prioritize stops and territory growth.
• Demonstrate knowledge of products to customers.

Responsibilities

• Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with customers in a designated territory to understand their business needs and identify areas of opportunity.
• Cold Calling & Prospecting: Effectively cold call on potential customers in the territory to grow a book of business.
• Planning & Priority Setting: Efficiently plans week in advance to prioritize customer stops and territory growth.
• Product Knowledge: Demonstrate our products to potential customers to show the value and quality of our products.
• Achieve Sales Goals: Meet or exceed sales quotas by following our company's proven sales programs and processes learned in our training workshops.
• Reporting: Maintain accurate records of daily sales activities by inputting information into our systems.
