Job summary

Kimball Midwest is seeking an Account Representative for a hybrid role, entering a two-year training program to gain sales experience, product knowledge and develop skills to become a sales representative.

In this role you will manage relationships in a designated territory, prospect new customers, plan weekly activity, showcase products and strive to meet sales goals while participating in training workshops.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to travel within designated territory and attend training sessions.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills needed.
• Proactive, organized with ability to plan ahead.

Responsibilities

• Relationship management: Cultivate strong relationships with customers in a designated territory.
• Cold calling & prospecting: Grow a book of business within the territory.
• Planning & priority setting: Plan weekly activity to drive territory growth.
• Product knowledge: Demonstrate products and emphasize value and quality.
• Achieve sales goals: Meet or exceed quotas through company programs and workshops.
• Reporting: Maintain accurate records of daily sales activities in company systems.
