Job summary

Kimball Midwest is seeking an Account Representative to enter a two-year training program to gain sales experience, product knowledge and develop skills needed to become a sales representative. The role is Hybrid, with hands-on field exposure across a designated territory.

First-year compensation ranges from $42,400 to $47,400 and includes a salary plus bonus structure, mileage and cell phone reimbursement as part of a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel within designated territory and maintain required insurance coverage.
• Own BYOD device and comply with BYOD policy.
• Ability to sign an Employment Agreement and related exhibits.

Responsibilities

• Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with customers in a designated territory to understand their business needs and identify opportunities.
• Cold Calling & Prospecting: Effectively cold call on potential customers to grow a book of business.
• Planning & Priority Setting: Plans weekly in advance to prioritize customer stops and territory growth.
• Product Knowledge: Demonstrate products to customers to show value and quality.
• Achieve Sales Goals: Meet or exceed sales quotas through company sales programs.
• Reporting: Maintain accurate records of daily sales activities in company systems.
