Job summary
Eaton Corporation's Electrical Engineering Services & Systems (EESS) team seeks a skilled engineer to lead development, testing, and deployment of PLC and HMI software for power transfer applications. The role operates in a hybrid environment with about 35% on-site time, partnering across PSC to deliver integrated control solutions.
Responsibilities include following specifications, selecting components, producing BOMs, and guiding Electrical Designers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 7+ years of power distribution controls experience, or Master’s with 5+ years, or 10+ years overall.
- Requires a current, unrestricted driver’s license and clean MVR per policy.
Responsibilities
- Create, modify, test, and deploy software for PLCs and HMIs for power transfer applications.
- Follow customer and internal specifications for project implementation.
- Select components and create BOMs.
- Provide sketches and direction to Electrical Designers for project drawings.
- Prepare SOOs, submittals, and test procedures.
- Assist with factory testing and field start-ups as needed.
- Troubleshoot systems that fail to operate correctly.
