Eaton Corporation’s Power Systems Controls group is seeking an engineer to lead development, testing, and deployment of PLC and HMI software for power transfer applications. The role involves collaborating with Electrical Designers, following customer specs, and preparing SOOs and test procedures.

Hybrid work arrangement with about 35% on-site time in the Las Vegas area is expected. Candidates should have a strong background in power distribution controls and be eligible for a driving

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 7+ years in power distribution controls experience OR Master’s degree with 5+ years OR 10 years overall experience.
• Driver’s license and clean MVR; background check required.

Responsabilités

• Create, modify, test, and deploy PLC and HMI software for Power Transfer applications (Main-Tie-Main, Main-Gen, etc.).
• Follow customer and internal specifications for project implementation.
• Select components and create bill of materials.
• Provide sketches and direction to Electrical Designers for project drawings.
• Prepare SOOs, test procedures, and customer submittals.
• Assist with factory testing and field start-ups as needed.
• Troubleshoot systems that are not functioning properly.
