Eaton Corporation’s Electrical Engineering Services & Systems (EESS) team is seeking engineers to develop, test, and implement PLC and HMI software for power transfer applications, including Main-Tie-Main configurations and paralleling switchgear. The role is hybrid with about 35% remote work in the Nashville area.

Responsibilities include following specifications, selecting components, preparing BOMs, and guiding Electrical Designers.

Formación

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with minimum 7 years of power distribution controls experience OR Master’s degree with at least 5 years of power distribution controls experience OR 10 years of power distribution controls experience.
Current unrestricted driver’s license and clean Motor Vehicle Record; subject to background check on hire.

Responsabilidades

Create, modify, test, and deploy software for PLCs and HMIs for Power Transfer applications.
Follow customer and internal specifications for project implementation.
Select components and prepare bill of materials; provide drawings direction to Electrical Designers; prepare submittals and test procedures.
Assist with factory testing and field start-ups; troubleshoot systems.
