Eaton Corporation's Electrical Engineering Services & Systems (EESS) team seeks a seasoned engineer to lead development, testing, and deployment of PLC and HMI software for power transfer applications. The role is hybrid, with office and field work supporting design, testing, and commissioning.

You will design, test, and implement control solutions, specify components, and prepare submittals and test procedures, while assisting with factory and field start-ups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 7+ years of power distribution controls experience OR Master’s degree with 5+ years OR 10+ years of experience in power distribution controls.
• Requires a current, unrestricted driver’s license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record as per Eaton’s policy.

Responsabilités

• Create, modify, test, and deploy PLC and HMI software for Power Transfer applications (Main-Tie-Main, Main-Gen, etc.).
• Follow customer and internal specifications for project implementation.
• Select components and prepare BOMs.
• Provide sketches and direction to Electrical Designers for project drawings.
• Prepare SOOs, test procedures, and customer submittals.
• Assist with factory testing and field start-ups as required.
• Troubleshoot systems not functioning properly.
