Job summary

Apex Systems is seeking a Desktop Support Technician for a hybrid role in Warwick, RI. The position supports Microsoft 365 environments, Windows laptops, printers, and conferencing systems, collaborating with Treasury IT and ETSS teams.

The contract runs for about 6 months with pay varying by experience. Applicants should have at least three years in a similar Windows/M365 support role, strong customer service skills, and a willingness to learn new technologies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years experience supporting users in a Microsoft M365 environment.
• Strong interpersonal and customer skills.
• Desire to learn and implement new technologies to enable efficient operation of the Treasury IT environment.

Responsibilities

• Configure and troubleshoot Microsoft products: Windows server, Windows 11, M365, Exchange, OneDrive, Intune, and other Microsoft cloud technologies.
• Configure and troubleshoot Dell laptops and drivers; printers; 802.11 wireless; diagnose hardware issues.
• Provide minor software troubleshooting (e.g., PowerShell scripts) and support across Treasury’s ticketing system NinaOne.
• Deploy desktops and laptops and printers; provision devices via Intune and Apple Business Manager.
• Assist with video/audio streaming in large Treasury conference rooms.
