Job summary

AppFolio Inc. is hiring a Business Development Representative (SMB – Investment Manager) to fuel growth through pipeline development and brand awareness. The role is hybrid, local to Dallas, TX or Santa Barbara, CA with office hub attendance at least 3 times weekly.

You will make outbound calls, qualify leads, and collaborate with Account Executives while maintaining CRM databases and reporting outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years work experience in a BDR/sales role preferred.
• Strong prospecting skills.
• Driven with a passion for results and sales success.
• Willing to learn new skills and grow a sales career.
• PropTech or FinTech SaaS experience preferred.
• Travel expected.

Responsibilities

• Make 50 outbound calls per day to qualify leads and develop new opportunities.
• Partner with Account Executives to qualify prospects and learn sales tactics.
• Update Salesforce and Gong with notes and intelligence from conversations.
• Report weekly results, qualitative and quantitative.
• Expand knowledge of the industry and competitive posture.
