Job summary

AppFolio is seeking a Business Development Representative (SMB - Investment Manager) to join our hybrid team in Dallas, TX or Santa Barbara, CA. The role focuses on outbound prospecting, qualifying leads, and collaborating with Account Executives.

You will update Salesforce and Gong, report weekly results, and travel as needed. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in BDR or sales, strong prospecting skills, and a drive to grow in PropTech or FinTech SaaS.

Qualifications

• 3+ years work experience in a BDR/Sales role.
• Strong prospecting skills.
• Exceptional level of drive and passion for results.
• Willingness to learn new skills and build a career in sales.
• PropTech or FinTech SaaS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Make 50 outbound calls per day to qualify leads and develop new sales opportunities.
• Partner with Account Executives to qualify prospects and learn sales tactics.
• Update Salesforce and Gong with notes and intel from conversations.
• Report on weekly results, qualitative and quantitative.
• Expand knowledge of industry and competitive posture.
