Job summary

AppFolio is seeking a Business Development Representative (SMB - Investment Manager) to fuel growth by building pipeline and increasing brand awareness. The role is hybrid, local to Dallas, TX or Santa Barbara, CA, with in-office 3x weekly attendance.

You will make 50 outbound calls daily to qualify leads, collaborate with Account Executives, and maintain Salesforce and Gong notes. Regular full-time with benefits, salary around $76,514 OTE.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in BDR or sales roles.
• Strong prospecting skills.
• Willingness to travel.
• PropTech or FinTech SaaS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Make 50 outbound calls per day to qualify leads and develop new sales opportunities from cold accounts.
• Partner with Account Executives to qualify prospects and learn additional sales tactics to win deals together.
• Update Salesforce and Gong databases with new notes and intel gathered from conversations with prospects.
• Report on weekly results, both qualitative and quantitative.
• Expand knowledge of industry as well as the competitive posture of the company.
